Steve leads the operational and people side of the business which includes recruitment and selection ensuring we only get the best of the best. In addition, Steve leads the continuous professional development programme for all our Principals so our clients get IT Directors at the top of their game. Co-founder and Director

Graeme co-founded Freeman Clarke in 2012 having run IT services businesses, built commercial software products, and been a corporate IT director and non-executive director. Graeme is responsible for our marketing and sales strategies, oversees our marketing team, and coaches and leads our Regional Directors. His aim is to ensure we build our community of clients and partners, engage with opportunities, and maximise the growth of the business.

Regional Director, West Midlands

Andrew joined Freeman Clarke in 2012 as Regional Director for the West Midlands where he is responsible for the development of the West Midlands team. Before joining Freeman Clarke Andrew was working with a number of SMEs providing consultancy and part time IT Director services after enjoying a successful career which included IT Director roles at Deloitte and Arthur Andersen, and roles in consultancy and software development serving a variety of clients across sectors such as Automotive, Insurance, Utilities, Retail, Hospitality and Defence.

Christine Parker Stubbs

Regional Director, North West

Christine joined Freeman Clarke in 2015 as Regional Director for the North West. Before joining us, Christine held a number of IT/Transformation Director roles primarily in the B2B and business services sectors, including RAC Motoring Services and Enterprise Plc. Previously, Christine worked in consultancy for Oracle in the healthcare, shipbuilding, agrochemical, retail and food industries. Christine also has a Non-Executive role at her local NHS Foundation Trust.

Regional Director, Southern Home Counties

Gerry leads our Southern Home Counties team. He has held IT leadership positions in a range of companies including Demon Internet, Tiscali and Lead Forensics. He founded the UK’s first cloud-based CCTV service and has dealt with successful M&A activities at NetNames and Adapt. He has experience of providing IT services to many different business sectors to ensure they support business growth and works with clients in Kent, Sussex and South East London.

  
Jean Marc Henaff

Jean Marc Henaff

Regional Director, Singapore

Jean Marc joined Freeman Clarke as the first team member into the Singapore Office. Jean-Marc brings with him 30 years of technology, system, infrastructure and team management experience, primarily in the Insurance and Software provider industries. In his tenure as Regional VP, and later, CIO, for global Insurance groups, Jean-Marc has designed top-in-class shared systems, services and infrastructure. Jean-Marc pioneered direct-to-consumer car insurance online sales architecture in Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand, as the EXCO member in one of the early Insurtech start-up in South East Asia. Jean-Marc was also the strategic product director, with the leading Software Provider for Insurance solutions in Asia. Having lived for over 28 years in Singapore, Jean-Marc is deeply anchored within the community and has in-depth knowledge of customary and the market.

Regional Director, London & Home Counties

Martin joined Freeman Clarke in 2014 and now leads the South East and London teams. He has extensive experience with global companies in sales and marketing as well as senior roles in consulting and leading IT. As an investor and entrepreneur his portfolio career includes chairman and non-executive director positions for technology and property businesses in the UK and overseas. He has sector experience in retail, manufacturing, professional services, media, property, health and entertainment.

Pippa Thomas

Regional Director, East Midlands & South Yorkshire

Pippa joined Freeman Clarke in 2014. She runs our East Midlands business as well as being IT Director for one of her clients, DEKRA. She began her career in pharmaceuticals and then spent a number of years as an IT Director in the automotive sector driving technology, teams and process development in diverse areas including retail, manufacturing, logistics, finance and service. She also previously ran her own consultancy specialising in CRM and training, and continues to have a number of not for profit roles in the education sector.

Regional Director, Thames Valley

Sally joined Freeman Clarke in 2015 and now leads the Thames Valley team. Before joining Freeman Clarke, Sally was a Global Award-winning Business Coach in the SME sector. Prior to that, she held a number of IT Director roles in the Retail, Insurance and Services industries including Ottakars, Screwfix Direct and Helphire plc. Previously, Victor has worked delivering Digital and IT transformations in retail, hospitality, gambling, food manufacture, fmcg and financial services sectors.

Alan has been with Freeman Clarke since 2014 and has been working with two London based law firms, Royds and Schillings, also Grangewood, a Loughton based building company. Concentrating on reviewing systems and ensuring they are fit for purpose, driving value from existing systems, ensuring end-to-end integration and ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery strategies are in place. Alan also provides IT director services for two not-for-profit organisation, Field Lane and Apley Grange. Previously Alan was IT Director at DWF Fishburns and has also held senior roles at Moto Hospitality and Morgan Cole.

Andy Jones joined Freeman Clarke having had an extensive career in senior IT leadership positions that culminated in being co-founder and CTO for Jewelstreet, an online designer jewellery marketplace. Andy has wide-ranging digital, ecommerce and online experience as well as operational and infrastructure services. He is used to working at board level and setting and delivering strategic direction for IT and making sure it underpins business growth. As well as founding Jewelstreet, before Freeman Clarke, Andy was CTO at Applegate Directory and Outcome Technologies and Group IT Director at Complinet.

Carolyn Bell

Carolyn joined the West Midlands team in 2017 and has a wealth of experience at both operational and executive level, with considerable experience delivering robust and cutting-edge IT solutions for business critical, highly-available & secure environments across a variety of sectors including media, healthcare and social housing. Carolyn is highly experienced in formulating and delivering IT strategies, service management, successful project delivery and business leadership. She has a passion for technology and its use as an enabler to deliver business growth and transformation. Since joining the team, she has been working with Harris Lamb, a property consultancy business headquartered in Birmingham with offices across the Midlands, and Birmingham-based Peters, the UK’s leading supplier of children’s books and furniture to schools and public libraries.

Prior to joining Freeman Clarke, Carolyn held senior leadership roles at Castleton Technology Plc, Bromford Housing Group, Alliance Medical Ltd and Autotrader. She holds an MBA from Manchester Business School.

Chris joined Freeman Clarke having previously worked for the Home Office as Head of Police Science and Technology Unit. Prior to that he worked on an interim basis with West Midlands Police where he ran the technical transformation of the forces change programme delivering savings in excess of £125M. He’s also worked as a consultant and director with Advoco-Innovart and CIO/CTO with the Highways Agency. Chris has a proven track records in both strategic formulation and execution, and demonstrable evidence of delivering technology enabled infrastructure transformation and business change.

Craig joined Freeman Clarke having previously held senior IT roles at Volkswagen, Adecco, Computacenter, Unisys and Demon Internet. He has over 25 years’ experience in the IT industry and has balanced his career between service provider and end user to gain perspective from both sides of the fence.

He has been responsible for supporting small and large IT operations, programme and project delivery and system migrations. Craig has a particular passion for relationships, leadership and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction within the IT arena.

Dave joined the West Midlands team within Freeman Clarke in 2013 and has been working with some long-term clients including Nottingham-based, BioCity, the UK’s largest bioscience incubator; P&M Group and ISD Solutions, the leading contractor specialising in the development, construction and maintenance of cold stores, firewalls, data centres, clean rooms, single-envelope, external industrial cladding and doors headquartered in Gloucester; and Pilgrim Food Service, a Lincoln based family owned supplier of high quality products to the foodservice industry. Prior to joining Freeman Clarke, Dave was Director of IT at First Response Finance and has also worked within diverse industries at a senior level including healthcare, finance, logistics and retail.

David began his career in manufacturing having completed a degree in manufacturing systems management but soon progressed to system analysis and software programming before becoming the MIS Manager for the large group of companies.  David has been a Head of IT/IT Director for over 20 years within an array of other sectors including Legal, Training, Not-For-Profit, Regulation, Transport and the NHS.  David has a passion for IT and a reputation for turning around poor-performing IT Departments and delivering on his promises.  When not working David enjoys spending time with his family (and dog), yachting, skiing, motorcycling, golf and DIY.

Graham joined Freeman Clarke with extensive experience within professional services, especially the legal sector.  Graham has lead on integration projects following mergers and acquisitions, and on the successful roll out and subsequent adoption of case and practice management systems. Graham is keen to ensure the business derives maximum value from any investment in technology, and that it extracts maximum value from existing systems. Graham also sits on the Finance Audit and Governance Committee of a local charity to advise on IT.

Iain joined the East Midlands team and works with AllTruck, specialists in contract hire and truck rental, where his IT transformation programme won their Business Partner of the Year Award in 2016. He also works with the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Cornelius Group, a European manufacturer and distributor of speciality chemicals, additives and ingredients, and an Education Trust, defining and delivering IT strategies to help them all transform and modernise the technology used to ensure the clients gain real business value. Jeremy joined Freeman Clarke in 2018. His prior career has been in IT management and consulting. He has held IT Director roles in banking and financial services, and senior roles in global professional services firms. In these roles, Jeremy has built and led teams of diverse IT specialists to deliver complex IT outcomes on time and to budget.

Jim joined Freeman Clark after working with SME’s over the past seven years in interim CTO, CIO and CEO roles helping them define and execute their business and technology strategies to meet their company objectives. Prior to that Jim worked in senior and Board roles for leading national and international companies in media and communications industries with responsibility for digital transformation, legacy system modernisation, application and infrastructure consolidation and project office leadership. He has led several software companies in the development of new products and built high calibre teams to accelerate delivery to market. Having started his career in business Jim has always focussed on ensuring that technology, and technology teams, are aligned with the goals of the business to drive revenue and profit.

John demonstrates a collaborative approach to successful IT departmental leadership, engaging with all business stakeholders both internally and externally. He has a proven track record of being able to translate business requirements into tangible, realistic technology deliverables and outcomes. As well as extensive IT knowledge, John is an experienced people and team manager, having managed teams of up to 70 and providing service to over 10,000 users. John lives just outside Oxford and has a first class degree in Chemistry.

John joined Freeman Clarke after more than 25 years helping ambitious, growing companies maximise the business benefits of I.T. Prior to joining Freeman Clarke, John successfully held IT Director and other director / senior leadership roles in several companies in the York and Leeds areas, including Aviva, Ventura, Energis, Tenet Group and Towergate, and played an instrumental role in the set-up and development of investment fund specialist Sinfonia Asset Management.
As well as John’s strong domain expertise in retail financial services, telecommunications and customer services, he has a proven track record of transformational change and service delivery – specialties include IT strategy formulation and execution, programme leadership, application delivery, change management, team building and leadership. He always focusses on the business strategy, ensuring that technology solutions, and the way they are applied, managed and used, are aligned with strategic business goals.
When not working John plays an active role in the community including organising the annual village beer festival.

Julian joined Freeman Clarke at the beginning of 2017 and is part of our central team. He is responsible for all recruitment, CPD and HR activities both here in the UK and with our newly expanded team in Singapore.
Julian has over 20 years’ experience with recruitment and HR and was most recently with a global charity looking after the recruitment of their international teams. Prior to that he has extensive experience working across a number of sectors including retail, warehousing and consultancy.

Julian Price joined Freeman Clark in early 2018. He brings with him more than 20 years’ experience in the technology sector where he has led the development of solutions for a diverse range of organisations across the Retail Banking, Public Safety and Entertainment sectors. Working on behalf of Camelot Group, Microsoft and Compaq Computer Corporation he has built high performing teams and award-winning solutions across the US, Canada, France and Germany.
A subject matter expert in online safety, privacy, consumer protection, and education he has influenced buy-in from cross-functional staff to C-suite leaders. He established Microsoft and MSN as leaders in child and online safety globally. As Chief Technical Officer of the UK’s Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre, Julian collaborated with government agencies, Homeland Security, The Royal Canadian Mounted Police and UK’s Serious Organised Crime Agency to design and build technology solutions for a new police force. He was recognised twice with Microsoft’s Circle of Excellence awards presented by Bill Gates himself.

Katy joined Freeman Clarke in 2015 and is the Finance Manager in our central team. She is responsible for all financial transactions and reporting both in the UK and overseas. Before joining Freeman Clarke, Katy worked with several blue-chip companies as a management accountant and finance systems analyst. She has wide experience across a number of industries including travel, retail, charities and consumer goods. When not balancing the books, Katy enjoys travel and family dog walks.

Kev’s experience encompasses a broad range of IT disciplines, including, software development, business analysis, programme management, supply chain consultancy, executive leadership and digital transformation. As part of the Southern Home Counties Team his client base is equally diverse, shaping strategy and mentoring the in-house IT team for a major law firm in Maidstone and as IT Director of a global healthcare company, is defining the future IT strategy and leading the selection and implementation of a new ERP solution in support of ambitious, international growth objectives. Martin works with a number of clients across the East Midlands. These include Nottingham Trams who operate and maintain the tram network for Greater Nottingham, Pedigree Wholesale, a leading supplier of pet foods and products and Sleaford Quality Foods who supply high quality ingredients to the food industry. Martin has been helping to develop their IT strategies and associated implementation plans to achieve challenging corporate goals including the direct project management of two ERP system implementations. Martin’s experience also spans across a range of other sectors including IT Services, Brewery and Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Freeman Clarke, Martin held senior leadership roles and directorships at Financial Services and Telecommunications companies including Capital One, TDX Group and Esendex. Mat joined Freeman Clarke in 2015 bringing with him 25 years experience in IT from both a management and technical viewpoint. Mat has been working with a number of clients in the Thames Valley area.  These include Pelican Procurement in Elstead, a provider of procurement services to the catering industry and Coachhire.com in Slough who provide coach hire services to both business and retail customers.  Mat has been helping both companies streamline their development processes and implement secure IT infrastructures. Prior to joining Freeman Clarke, he held senior IT positions in various companies and, most recently, sold his IT software company to a PLC. Mat has extensive experience in the SME sector and enjoys helping companies use the right technology to grow to their full potential. He has wide experience of digital technologies, in particular mobile and e-commerce. Mat is passionate about getting the younger generations interested in technology and is a STEM ambassador, volunteering at events in local schools.

Neil joined Freeman Clarke with more than 30 years of IT experience for private and public sector organisations. With over 12 years in three Director roles, Neil has set the IT strategy and delivered extensive transformation programmes to either setup new IT functions or turn around under performing ones and deliver the IT that the business required. Before moving into leadership roles he held a number of technical and management roles across the whole spectrum of IT including software development, infrastructure and support.

Paul uses his extensive IT and business experience with Freeman Clarke clients across London and the South East to help stabilise and grow their businesses through the use of technology. Pip joined Freeman Clarke in March 2018 as our Events Campaign Administrator. She assists our Regional Directors with coordinating their local events and helping to ensure they run smoothly. After moving from New Zealand in 2001 Pip gained a wealth of experience in London working as a PA and organising events within an international engineering and design consultancy. She’s also had experience within Human Resources, in particular coordinating Leadership Development programmes.

Richard joined Freeman Clarke with over 16 years’ IT leadership experience. Prior to joining, Richard has been both an IT Director and Consultant across industries including construction, consultancy, aviation, relocation, government, commercial and corporate sectors. He is focused on the development and delivery of IT strategies and solutions and specialises in developing IT in growing SMEs. He is also commercially aware with a broad range of experience having worked for world-class organisations including British Airways, Bain & Co and Cap Gemini. Along with his skills in IT strategy, he works hard in developing and managing individuals and teams to leverage their expertise for both their own personal development, the benefit of the organisation and customers.

Samia joined the Freeman Clarke Finance team in early 2018 as Finance Assistant. Prior to joining, Samia spent several years working in the UK and internationally across a number of sectors, including Telecommunications, Oil and Gas, and a European Embassy. She manages the day to day Financial Activity, maintaining of accounts payable and receivable, the coordination of credit control and payroll. Samia speaks several additional languages including French, German, Bengali and Hindi. During her free time Samia enjoys spending time with her three children, and playing the piano.”

Steve started out as an Electronics Engineer but moved into IT in the late 80s specialising in selecting and implementing ERP solutions into a variety of industries including Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction and Rental. Steve subsequently specialised in IT Strategy, System Acquisition, Programme Management, IT Contract Negotiations and IT Due Diligence. Steve has held key interim roles in numerous large organisations including Speedy Hire, Tarmac Building Products and Lavendon Group.

Stuart joins Freeman Clarke after successfully completing a recent role as IT & Commercial Director at LeasePlan UK the World’s largest and most innovative vehicle finance and leasing company. He brings a wealth of technology leadership experience to aid organisations to gain sustainable competitive advantage and class leading returns. Equally at home in the boardroom or dealing with complex technical issues he combines commercial acumen, technology expertise and strategic vision to ensure businesses reach their desired goals. He has a track record in the design and delivery of large-scale technology programmes and inspires those around him with his enthusiasm and his passion for the development of others. In previous roles Stuart worked with Volkswagen Audi Group and was COO at White Clarke Group, a privately owned supplier of technology solutions to the automotive finance sector, led technology and business change for Royal Bank of Scotland and was Managing Director of Lombard Vehicle Management, one of the UK’s largest vehicle management businesses. Stuart has also held senior board level roles including CIO, Director of Strategy, Operations Director and senior consultancy roles.
