Located near Oxford, Immunocore is the world’s leading TCR (T-cell receptor) company and is focused on delivering first-in-class biologics that transform lives. The company’s therapeutics have broad applicability across a wide range of diseases including cancer and infectious diseases. Immunocore has rapidly grown into a global R&D organisation and is preparing for the commercialisation of its first product.
Immunocore needed to bring in a senior IT leader who could not only manage and mentor the IT team but also take the lead on major projects including new technology, cloud-based systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Freeman Clarke’s Warwick Hampden-Woodfall, an excellent IT director, hit the ground running and picked up on the industry specific requirements for compliance. Warwick’s wealth of prior experience meant that during his time at Immunocore he successfully implemented specific multi-disciplinary projects, mentored the internal team, and became a trusted member of the Immunocore senior team.
Eva-Lotta Allan, Chief Business Officer commented:
‘The Freeman-Clarke model has worked well for us at an important time of change for Immunocore. Working with Warwick has been a great pleasure. His professionalism and “can-do” approach has meant delivery of a number of critical projects for the company, which have brought us up to date with respect to IT systems. Warwick’s ability to pick up on the complex technology and industry we are in, combined with his IT capabilities, has resulted in Immunocore being in a stronger, more secure IT environment.’
